It fits perfectly at the right ankle height. Also nice stretchy material. I strongly recommend it!

My husband is super hard on his socks. Usually a pair only lasts him a couple weeks before they get holes in them. I came across cloudline and their warranty so I decided to get him some for Christmas last year, and they’ve worked out perfectly for him. After a year of use, there’s still no signs of wear. I’ve placed multiple orders now to start to replace all his socks with cloudline. Was hesitant about the price at first, but the quality is definitely worth the investment and I feel confident (even without the lifetime warranty) that these socks will hold up for quite awhile.

These are great everyday socks with perfect height. They are not too loose and not too snug. Unlike other socks, these socks actually don't smell after a whole day of wearing. The minor complaint is that the elastic at the top of ankle can be a bit tighter.

These socks have lasted 2 years of regular running and everyday use. I trained for a full marathon using these socks year and they show every little signs of wear. Fully recommend.

I’ve worn these exclusively for about 5 years. Do yourself a favor and ditch all the old mismatched oddball stretched out stuff from your sock drawer and order up from cloudline!

Not very comfortable or soft at all. A bit stiff. Regretful purchase.

A 3 pack of these socks, bought 3 years ago, has outlasted 6, 6 packs of Costco socks, that I have purchased in the past 3 years to cover me when my 3 pairs of cloud line are out on loan to my wife and daughter. I finally realized that quality is better than quantity and got all of us cloud line socks for early Christmas and we have been happier and kinder since then...

They are nice but too thin for my liking

got my first pair a few years ago, have worn them hundreds of times, and other than a bit of (predicable and unavoidable for merino) piling, they're good and strong as new.

These socks are great! They are very comfortable, keep feet dry and warm, but not too warm. I highly, highly recommend them!

I think this is as good as it gets for socks with such high wool content. Deserves 5 stars as wool socks and I'll buy more. They do not smell even after multiple wearings. I got caught in cold winter rain on 2 runs and they performed excellent. I took off one point because they're recommended for running. To me, these socks are a bit too loose and sloppy for serious running. You can size down (I'm a 9.5, 10.5 in running shoes and bought the LG) but without a lot more nylon, I don't think they're elastic enough to hole on tight to the feet. I own other running socks (including fox river and darn tough) and they're a lot more tight and compressive. Also, be aware that this isn't really ultra-thin like the darn tough ultra lights. They're equivalent to the thin darn tough and fox river socks.

Used these on numerous hikes this last summer. When I wanted to wear a sock in the summer this is what I picked. I've also been using on this fall. I'll just say like all my cloud line socks, they're great!

Love these socks

So I have been trying out the various weights and styles of these and the Ultralight turned out to be perfect for the summer in the desert and with some of the shoes I wear at the races and events. The lightweight & mid-weight have been the go-to's when we are out in the dirt & sand with hiking shoes.

I've been using Darn Tough socks...I switched and haven't been disappointed.

I wish the socks came in more colors, but I love them. I have pairs for the winter and ones for the summer.

Wonderful socks; super comfortable for all kinds of activities, and not a think pile, but not super thin either. The merino really makes a difference. These are excellent. I hope that Cloudline will source 100% of the material from the USA - that would make them perfect.

These are great socks for the price. They don't shrink too much when washed which is nice for people like me who don't want to worry about separating them out in every wash. They soften up over time, but still aren't quite as soft as some of the more expensive brands I've used. However, for the price I am very happy. They breathe very well, dry quickly, and don't get stinky. I wish they were a 1/2 or so taller above the ankle, but I'm 6'4" and I'm sure they are perfect for most people.

I wore these through a 10 mile trail race and they helped keep my feet cool and dry. As promised, there was no cushion on them, so comfort kind of depends on the shoe you wear with them. There is something to be said about staying I place on your foot, though. I don’t ever have to adjust them.
So far, I haven’t had any holes or visible wear on them, so that’s kind of impressive, too.

Really comfortable and great fitting socks. I especially like the over the ankle fit. The different levels of cushion from ultra-light, light, and medium are nice to be able to choose from for a particular activity or type of shoe.

I'm loving Cloudline socks! I actually use these for cycling, on the trainer at least. They are perfect and once the weather warms up they will be used outside on the bike. I'm slowly changing all my socks out Cloudline I like them that much!

I wanted good Merlin wool socks to replace some worn out ones. These are great and the BOGO half off deal was the ticket. Light yet warm and comfy. 2 thumbs up on these socks.

Simply put, these socks have changed my life. Cotton socks would get wet, constrict, and cause my feet so much pain. Cloudline socks have taken all that away.
